Melalui acara Konosuba Radio Episode 28, para seiyuu seri ini mengumumkan bahwa sebuah anime baru untuk Konosuba sedang dalam pengerjaan. Para seiyuu sendiri nampaknya sama kagetnya dengan saya atas pengumuman ini.

Berhubung sudah dikatakan bahwa proyek barunya berupa shin anime kita tidak perlu khawatir proyek baru ini malah berupa drama panggung, game, atau pachinko. Masih belum jelas apa format dari anime baru ini, selain season ketiganya bisa saja kita kedapatan sebuah movie atau spin-off. Beberapa screenshot dari OVA terbaru juga menunjukkan adegan dari volume 5 LN-nya.
